Safe cycling is a very serious problem of our area. According to The Traffic Department the amount of cars in our city has increased two times for the last five years. But only five kilometers of cycle patches have been built. Hence streets are more crowded and more dangerous for cyclists.

    Doctor Headache, the chief of The Emergency Unit, says that every day there are from two to five car accidents with cyclists. They  usually cause  injuries like bruises or skin chafes. But from time to time there are also head contusions which  may lead to the death. So it is necessary to use bicycle helmets. Althought they are not obligatory, they can save life.

    The additional way to increase on own safety standard is riding on the pavement rather than along  streets full of fast cars. This way is not right according to the rules of road, but is accepted by the police.

    The next, very important matter, is cycling under the influance of alcohol. This is the simplest way to provoke an accident. And it is forbidden by the law.
